Pires: Chelsea's Makelele not coming to Villarreal

Robert Pires claims that Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele has ruled out the possibility of signing for Villarreal this summer.

The Chelsea midfielder has been linked with a possible move to Spain, but Pires does not believe his former France international team-mate will be joining him at El Madrigal.
"[Roberto] Ayala and [Joan] Capdevila have already signed and they are two nice reinforcements," Pires told L'Equipe. "However, Makelele has no desire to join us."
