Redondo feels at home in Milan


31 January 2001 (Raisports) -- DESPITE NOT yet making his Serie A debut former Real Madrid player Redondo says he is enjoying living in Milan.

Knee surgery has kept him from playing during the last eight months but the player says that he loves living in Italy and is((((((( looking forward to playing his first game with his new squad, possibly in the Champions League next month.)))))))))))))))))


"I'm doing quite well even though it will still be a while before I can start playing again," he said. "But even though I miss playing I must say that I really love being in Milan. It's a great city and I really feel at home here.


"That's what I was telling my relatives too. They called me from Argentina the other day and I told them that here it is like being at home. My biggest challenge right now is to heal on time to play in the Champions League."
