First: What is UNICEF

UNICEF is an international institution concerned with poor and weak communities in order to improve their living conditions .In Palestine, it focus it’ attention on the educational, health and protection, water, is also work in saving and controlling the Convention of the child’s rights, with other interests to respond to the requirements of the Palestinian community, as well as follow-up and development actions

As it also has many developmental objectives for the advancement of modern Palestinian society to overcome all difficult stage and situations that can affect negatively people’s psychology, especially the category of children and women.
It relies on the financial resources and bid for the donor countries, spend it on poor families, and giving them opportunities to contribute to the development of their abilities and their homeland, with attention to water’s resources and treatment, the drilling of wells, sanitation, and all actions that would provide a good life to poor or suffering people.

Second, Awarding UNICEF tenders for Zionism company



Because of the destruction on the Gaza Strip caused by the Israeli Zionist army’s by which most of its facilities and vital installations were destroyed, including long-potable water ,Gaza is now suffering a shortage of water, which affect the health of citizens and threatening their future, especially children. So it was too important for UNICEF to find to apply for a project for water desalination

As all other projects, bids are being rewarded for a company that can serve the interests of Palestine. Unfortunately , with an unusual step, the bids was rewarded Zionism Israeli company for the implementation of the project, , and this step is hurting the feelings of the Palestinians as it illogical and unfair to assign this task to the one who was responsible for destroying it.
This step is like a gift and a reward for their crimes against Gaza and its people .Mr. Osama Kahil the president of the Palestinian Contractors Union says” How can this important matter being assigned for Zionist occupation, who was responsible for the destruction of Gaza and it’s siege for more than six years.
How we can assign this project for someone who has a hand in poisoning our water and our skies and damage our city !!
Does the purpose of such a project to help Israeli occupation to appear as they cares about Gaza’s people human beings ??!! If this was the purpose, why Israeli occupation initially destroy all the infrastructure of Gaza??


Third: Why to award the bids for Zionist Israeli company



UNICEF has threatened to award bids to other companies if Zionism company did not accept .This lead us to ask several questions: Why this insistence, while there are many Palestinian qualified companies instead of the Zionists? They buy goods from Zionists when it is not available in Palestinian market, but with regard to the Palestinian water network , why to focus on Zionist companies rather than Palestinian ones ?
What make it worse that Zionism company assign many Palestinian companies to carry out the work, the Zionists to take half profits without doing anything.!
Palestine refuses to receive funds against it’s dignity. Is UNICEF aware about how this step can erase the memory! how it can be normal for UNICEFto award "Israeli" company to implement projects in the besieged Gaza Strip?
UNICEF has justified this step that the Zionism companies are local!!!! This justification is dangerous because it kind of fraud ,as it represent two parties( Palestinian and Israeli) as they are living under in harmony and love.
In this regard, the Palestinian Contractors Union warned any Palestinian party not to deal with the Zionism companies ,unless it will be accountable .

Fourth: Duties of the donor countries toward policies of to UNICEF



The duty of donor countries is to review their policies with the staff of UNICEF, and make them aware of their basic functions ,which is serving of Palestinians, not to force them to accept the help of those who stained their hands with the blood of innocent people.
Donor countries had to take decisive word and decisions when UNICEF is exceeding it’s basic , this was accompanied by the movements and denunciations and even provinces by the Palestinians Contractors union , to force UNICEF to cancel this bids and award it for Palestinian companies and not to exploit the needs of Palestinians .And also all parties have to stand seriously to stop such actions of passing such projects without shedding light on it
