With the addition of Pablo Osvaldo to the team, Borriello has not been getting as much time on the pitch as part of the first eleven. It looks like he will be leaving Roma in the January transfer window with Marsille and Juventus interested in his services Roma will agree to loan him till june for 1 million euros with a futher 8 million euros compusary buy out at the end of the loan.

If Juventus want to sign Roma striker Marco Borriello then they must match the offer that has been made by French Ligue 1 side Marseille.
La Vecchia Signora have been known admirers of the talented 29 year-old and have been linked with the Neopolitan in this winter’s transfer window.
Roma have nailed their giallorossi colours firmly to their mast and have laid out the terms and conditions for any sale.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claims that the Giallorossi want €1m for a six month loan, but Juve would have to sign him at the end of the season for €7.5m.
Marseille have apparently already agreed to these terms and it is up to Juventus to either match or beat it.
Juventus have a plethora of attackers eyeing the transfer window with the likes of Luca Toni, Amauri and Vincenzo Iaquinta all looking to move on. Any purchase of Borriello you feel would be dependant on selling at least one of these three.
Borriello was impressive for Roma last season with 11 league goals but under new coach Luis Enrique he has been given the cold shoulder and has been restricted to two starts and a few fleeting substitute appearances.
Personally, I hope that Enrique gives Borriello the chance to stake a first team place rather than selling him but that seems unlikely as the Spaniard has so far shown no real inclination that he sees Borriello as part of his first-team plans. | |  | |  | |
