Considered by many as the next big thing in Asian football, Yaser Al qahtani is hoping to take the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™ by storm.
Al qahtani’s impressive dribbling skills and phenomenal speed have marked him out as a player to watch in the Saudi Arabian league.

During the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, he was a crucial asset to the Saudis' successful campaign. He played a vital part against Korea Republic in the home match in Dammam, where he created the first goal and won a penalty from which he scored the second.

“His outstanding performance tonight proved that he is a first-class player and can inflict huge damage against any side,” said then Saudi coach Gabriel Calderon after the 2-0 victory.

Now Al qahtani has Spain, Ukraine and Tunisia in his sights as he seeks to help the Sons of the Desert into the last 16.
