I'm sick and tired of this modern generation of football fan

I'm not old myself, but I still watch football for the game, not the result. I don't care about how much money a player costs, I only care about the determination, energy and passion a player shows when he puts on our lillywhite. I don't mind a hard-fought loss, I don't mind missing silverware, because these things I'm used to

Now dont get me wrong, I would love Spurs to win a cup or 3, I just dont expect it. I would love Spurs to beat United, I just dont expect it. This makes the wins sweeter and the pain easier to take. Remember, Spurs have never finished higher than 4th and we almost got relegated twice in the 90s. We are a club of tradition

Everyone gives us a hard time because Spurs set the example of how fans should support a club and how football should be played. We've always promised ourselves another new dawn, this is the season, season after season and I'm never dissapointed. I love the journey even when it ends in tears. So COYS lets get behind the team no matter what. And if you cant do that you dont deserve to support our famous club - fek off and be a city fan
