من ترسبات الماضي اهتزاز مكانة السيد كالديرون بين الهلاليين حينما كان في نادي الإتحاد ! ولكن الآن كالديرون أصبح مدرباً هلالياً واختياره لم يأت عبطاً ولاعبثاً خاصة حين ندرك أن من مؤيدي وجوده هنا الأسطورة سامي الجابر الذي سبق لكالديرون الإشراف عليه فنياً في المنتخب السعودي آنذاك !! هذا باستثناء ظروف ومسوغات كثيرة أدت لاختيار كالديرون لهذه المرحلة تحدث عنها الجميع ولا حاجة لتكرارها هنا !
